Delete your Kanban Tasker account

You can delete your Kanban Tasker account, and every task in it, whenever you like. You don't need to install the app again to do it.

In the app or on this website

Open the Android app, or sign in at kanban-task.com with the same account.
Go to Settings > Account > Delete account.
Confirm with your password. If your account signs in only with Google, type its e-mail address instead.

The account goes at once. If you'd like a copy of your tasks first, Settings > Data downloads them as a file.

By e-mail

If you can't sign in any more, write to [email protected] from the address of the account and ask for it to be deleted. We delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply when it's done.

What is deleted

Your account: the e-mail address and the scrambled password.
Your Google sign-in, if you connected one (the scrambled Google ID and its e-mail address).
All your swimlanes, columns, tasks, repeat rules, reminders and settings, including the markers left by tasks you deleted earlier.
Every sign-in session, so all your devices are signed out.

Nothing is kept: there is no archive and no backup copy of deleted accounts. The only things left for a short while are counts of sign-in attempts, kept with your internet address or e-mail only in a scrambled form, which end by themselves within about a day. A copy of your tasks stays on a device where the app or a browser was still signed in, until you sign out there or remove the app.
